Ashbourne Highland Gathering

The 2016 Ashbourne Highland Gathering has been postponed

The decision that was made at the last Gathering Committee Meeting on the 19th January that we are not in a position to go ahead with the 2016 Gathering.
The reason is simply that we have have not raised enough funds.
The decision had to made now because the arrangements for the stallholders and tenders for entertainments, ice cream etc. need to be dealt with this month. There have been several email enquiries already.
We have not given up and the aim is to use 2016 to continue the fundraising effort and to look for other revenue sources.
